Program Overview
New Hampshire healthcare practitioners and healthcare support occupations account for 9,500 projected jobs by 2030, nearly 20% of all new jobs in the decade. Employment projections specifically for NH Licensed Nursing Assistants is expected to rise 6.8% between 2020 and 2030.
Though there are many LNA training programs available in New Hampshire, the Manchester Community College (MCC) LNA training program, held at Great Bay Community College, is designed with flexibility in mind. The program is a hybrid model, which includes online learning coupled with in-person lab and clinical hours. The model assists those that are currently employed to have time to maintain a job and participate in learning for their new career.
Certification Preparedness:
At completion, students will be prepared to sit for the state certification examination and submit their Board of Nursing LNA license application.

- Pass criminal background check
- Pass a drug screening
Class Format
Our courses combine online theory, in-person labs, and hands-on clinicals to offer a flexible and comprehensive learning experience.
- Online Theory: The theory portion of the course is completed online, allowing students to learn at their own pace.
- In-Person Labs: Labs are held in person at Great Bay Community College. They take place three days per week, from 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
- Clinicals: Clinical experiences occur at a partner facility within the Seacoast area. Clinicals are scheduled from 7:00AM to 3:30PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays for six weeks.
